TOP 5 PICKS OF THE YEAR

So it's one more year down and let's face it it's not been Hollywood's most exciting one. There have been a few gems that stood out so here are my top five picks...

1. DISTRICT 9
2. INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS
3. HANGOVER
4. STAR TREK
5. AVATAR

And now as I take a break- critics' also need to go off duty - let me just give you a taster of what 2010 looks like. Yes its a yummy year with some very exciting releases and here are the five films I am super excited about-

1. INCEPTION directed by Christopher Nolan. A sci-fi thriller with Leonardo Di Caprio, Marion Cotillard and Ellen Page

2. SHUTTER ISLAND directed by Martin Scorsese.Starring Leonardo Di Caprio, Sir Ben Kingsley, Mark Ruffalo and Emily Mortimer.

3. IRON MAN 2 directed by Jon Favreau with Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson and
Hollywood's much adored wrestler Mickey Rourke.

4. ALICE IN WONDERLAND directed by TIM BURTON with his two favorites- Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter. There's also Mia Wasikowska, Micheal Sheen and Anna Hathaway in the mix.

5. THE LAST AIRBENDER directed by M.NIGHT SHYAMALAN with Dev Patel, Cliff Curtis and Jackson Rathbone.

So I'm off for a much needed break. Bon Voyage people. See you in the new year!!!

Ur Top 5 picks exactly matches to mine also, except one ie Startrek.
I don't know how u missed out movies like "Law Abiding Citizen", "500 Days of Summer","The taking of Pelham 123" nd "Public Enemies".

I hope those movies will be in ur Top 10 List.

I would like 2 go with Top 10 Instead of Top 5, since there r some movies which deserves to be in the spot.

1. District 9 - It was Unique, and eagerly waiting for the sequel
2. Inglorious Bastards - It's Pretty Awesome
3. Hangover - Ultimate Entertaining movie
4. Avatar - It's in da 4th Place as it is loaded with CGI, nothing else.
5. Sherlock Homes - This is in the list as it got released in da month of dec 09 nd it is exceptionally good
6. Law Abiding Citizen - Nice Suspense Thriller movie
7. 500 Days OF Summer - The tagline has caused my attention 2 this movie ie "Boy meets girl. Boy falls in love. Girl doesn't."
8. Star Trek
9. Up
10. The taking of Pelham 123


nd Coming 2 da future releases my choices are

1. "Edge of Darkness" - directed by Martin Campbell with Mel Gibson

2. "Shutter Island" directed by Martin Scorsese with his fav Leonardo Di Caprio, Sir Ben Kingsley.

3. "Green Zone" directed by Paul Greengrass with this fav Matt Damon. The team is back after Bourne 2nd and 3rd series.

4. "Robin Hood" directed by Ridley Scott with Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett.

5. "Inception" directed by Christopher Nolan with Leonardo Di Caprio and Ellen Page.

2009 was a brilliant year for me and my eyes watching the movies..
my top 5 movies those i've seen and liked would be
5.FAST AND THE FUROUS: Being a big fan of cars!...and a fan of the other movies...it really proved good!..
4.UNDERWORLD RISE OF THE LYCANS: This is an amazing movie!...i liked it a lot and it is the prequel of the 2 other movies!...loved the previous 2 as well!..
3.ANGELS AND DEMONS: Movie i liked..because of lot of reasons...the plot the story ..everything was nice but cant really understand why it didnt make big.
2.like to share the 2nd place!..
INGLORIOUS BASTERDS: 2 words-QUENTIN TARANTINO
and
PARANORMAL ACTIVITES: Are u kidding me!...this is the creepiest movie ever in the history of the world!..i didnt realise the movie was scary until the power supply went OFF while i was watching the movie ALONE in my house at NIGHT!...
1:AVATAR: The movie is a legend already!...this is one of the best movies or a "purpose of having
two eyes as a human" kinda feeling was what i got after watching the movie!...truely the BEST...

Your review on Paranormal Activity goes to show your ignorance in how to judge a movie. Wish i coud be there in the studio when u gals went on yapping about the movie.
