I feel like a kid right now and as I pen my thoughts-I'm literally jumping with excitement...Let me not get ahead of myself here...back track a bit and tell you how it happened.
So here I am, sitting and day dreaming about how some of the movies this year are good but nothing like The Dark Knight that threw me for a six...So I get thinking about what Christopher Nolan is up to these days and what's the deal with the next Batman movie. Sadly there hasn't been an official announcement (expecting one January of next year) but that's also because our man Nolan has been busy and extremely tight lipped about his current project-a contemporary sci-fi thriller Inception.
And this is just about the time I had that "Oh my God" moment.
My favorite current director-Christopher Nolan (obviously) and my favorite Hollywood actor-Leonardo Di Caprio are collaborating along with Marion Cotillard (La Vie en rose) and Ellen Page (of Juno fame) for this really secretive project that's expected to release July 2010."It's set within the architecture of the mind." And while there's not much credible information to go on (Nolan refuses to talk) it seems to indicate that Leo plays a CEO whose also the mastermind of a technology that operates vie an injection that allows him and his crew to enter people's dreams-retrieve them and/or change them.
The tag line says "Your mind is the scene of the crime"- and knowing Nolan it should be one hell of a crime scene.

i completely agree with neha...initially i used to say TROY is the best movie i watched in the theater before that LOTR and gladiator, beautiful mind before the LOTR trio..but i must say dark knight sent me for a home run...a six for neha...i had high hopes for the film especially after watching memento, prestige, batman begins and the common thing among the three are that they are one of my favorites and belong to NOLAN..a supremely talented director who is pretty young..i was baffled to see dark knight not being even nominated as the best movie for 2008, do not know for what good reasons...slumdog was a disappointment so was the jai ho number..people say that joker was awesome..i mean of course he was, i wish i could say IS... but he was just an icing on the cake, it was a complete movie...none of the movies were close to it in 2009 too...AVATAR was famous due to its effects but a beautiful movie otherwise too...i too am awaiting eagerly for INCEPTION and of course ROBIN HOOD staring my favorite actor RUSSEL CROWE..hopefully neha and few other of you guys would agree with me come on guys "whyyy sooo seriooouuusss"...lol..cu soon..
The joker makes the movie what it is. His ideologies make his character extremely intense and this intensity stays throughout the movie and is one of the biggest reasons for the movie's success.
